Highest Grossing Movie Of The Year – Sanju Honoured By Indywood
Hyderabad, India: Bollywood biopic ‘Sanju’, based on the life of Sanjay Dutt, recently became the highest grossing Hindi film was honoured by Indywood. The movie, which hit the big screens on June 29, rocked the box office as it earned a whopping Rs 120.06 crore in its opening weekend. During fourth season of Indywood Film Carnival held at Hyderabad, “cast and crew’s of “ Sanju” was honoured by International Film Business Awards.
The winners of IFBA Film Production awards included Sanju (Highest Grossing Movie of the year – Hindi); Rangasthalam (Highest Grossing Movie of the year – Telugu); Sarkar (Highest Grossing Movie of the year – Tamil); Kayamkulam Kochunni (Highest Grossing Movie of the year – Malayalam); Tagaru (Highest Grossing Movie of the year – Kannada); Bhaijaan Elo Re (Highest Grossing Movie of the year – Bengali); Baban (Highest Grossing Movie of the year – Marathi) and Carry On Jatta 2 (Highest Grossing Movie of the year – Punjabi) and Yashraj Films was honored with the Producers of the year award. Special Honour for the Best Innovation was presented to Orange County Sdn Bhd and Special Recognition for the Outstanding Contribution towards Indian Cinema was presented to Mr. P Vasu.
This year IFBA awards were given away in 4 different categories – Exhibitors Awards, Film Distributors Awards, Film Production Awards and Film Tourism Awards.

Mr. Balkrishna Shroff was honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award in the Field of Film Distribution during the ceremony. A special award was also bestowed upon Mr. Vijay Soni, VPS Communication for his dedicated support to Indian cinema by distributing Indian movies to UK and Mauritius.
